This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the TRIMR iOS application (the “App”), provided by Apex Labs Ltd. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service. This licence is personal to you and may not be sub-licensed, sold, or otherwise transferred.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be 16 or older to use TRIMR. Keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.
3. Using the service
TRIMR is a hairstyle recommendation and preview tool. You agree to only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have explicit permission to use. You will not upload anything illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit, or use the App to violate anyone's rights.
4. AI recommendations
Recommendations, scores, and previews are generated by machine learning and are not professional styling advice. Results may vary from what you see in real life. Always consult a qualified barber or stylist for your actual haircut.
5. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal
TRIMR Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Three weekly tiers are offered — TRIMR Pro Lite, TRIMR Pro, and TRIMR Pro+ — which differ by the number of AI hair scans included each week.
- Length: each subscription is billed on a weekly basis.
- Price: the exact price of each tier is shown on the paywall before you purchase, in your local currency.
- Payment: charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel: in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
6. Refunds
Subscription refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
7. Intellectual property
TRIMR's design, code, and AI models belong to Apex Labs Ltd. Photos and content you upload remain yours. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process and display them back to you.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how your photos and data are handled.
9. Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or bad haircut decisions. Our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
10. Apple as third-party beneficiary
This Agreement is between you and Apex Labs Ltd only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of London, UK.
